# Native developer docs > Developer docs for Native (native.no): the Norn API, which returns ranked post ideas for a brand, and the Native API, which lets a product run Native for its own customers over MCP. Neither is live yet: these pages describe the planned interfaces, and names and fields can change before access opens. Norn API access opens from a waitlist at https://native.no/meet-norn?from=docs#waitlist. To add one of these APIs to a project, follow its setup page for coding agents: [Norn API](https://docs.native.no/norn/agent-setup.md), [Native API](https://docs.native.no/native-api/agent-setup.md). Each page says what to check in the project, what to add and what to tell the person. Neither API is live yet, so the agent writes the code and calls nothing. ## Norn API Ask Norn, the model behind the ideas Native suggests, for ranked post ideas for any brand, each with its sources and a prompt for your own models. - [Norn API](https://docs.native.no/norn.md): Norn predicts which idea people will respond to, before anything is published. The API will let any product ask it for ranked ideas. - [Set up with an agent](https://docs.native.no/norn/agent-setup.md): Give your coding agent one line, and it adds the Norn API to your project: the credentials, a token helper, a typed client and a check you can run. - [Quickstart](https://docs.native.no/norn/quickstart.md): From your credentials to your first ranked ideas: create a brand from a website, ask for ideas, turn one into a post and tell Norn what happened. - [Brands](https://docs.native.no/norn/brands.md): A brand is who Norn suggests ideas for. Create one from a website, check what Norn read, and correct anything it got wrong. - [Ideas](https://docs.native.no/norn/ideas.md): Ask Norn for ideas and get them back ranked, each with a hook, an angle, why it fits now, its sources and a prompt for a generative model. - [Feedback](https://docs.native.no/norn/feedback.md): Tell Norn what happened to an idea: approved, edited or turned down, and how the post performed. It is how Norn learns a brand’s taste. - [Predictions](https://docs.native.no/norn/predictions.md): In development: send the drafts you already have, and Norn ranks them before they go out, with how likely each is to beat the brand’s usual post. - [API reference](https://docs.native.no/norn/reference.md): The base URL, authentication, request format, errors, limits and versions of the Norn API, and every endpoint on one list. - [Patterns](https://docs.native.no/norn/patterns.md): Ways to build with Norn: an idea feed in your product, a first week of posts for every new customer, a person in the loop, and ideas for an agent. - [FAQ](https://docs.native.no/norn/faq.md): Common questions about the Norn API: what Norn is, how it differs from a chat model, what is live, and what it will cost. ## Native API Run Native for your own customers from your backend: onboard a brand, generate posts, collect approval in your own interface and publish, through Native’s MCP tools. - [Native API](https://docs.native.no/native-api.md): MCP tools that let a partner run Native for its own clients from its backend: onboard, generate, approve and publish. Not live for partners yet. - [Set up with an agent](https://docs.native.no/native-api/agent-setup.md): Give your coding agent one line, and it adds the Native API to your project: the credentials, a token helper, an MCP client and a check you can run. - [From onboarding to offboarding](https://docs.native.no/native-api/flow.md): The calls a partner backend makes for one client, in order: onboard, set the look, connect accounts, generate, approve, publish, track and offboard. - [Profiles](https://docs.native.no/native-api/profiles.md): Create a profile for each client from its website, wait for Native to build it, check what it can do, and end the service when the client leaves. - [Branding](https://docs.native.no/native-api/branding.md): Read a brand’s colours, fonts and logos, and change them. A change applies to new posts only: nothing already made is drawn again. - [Social accounts](https://docs.native.no/native-api/social-accounts.md): Send a client a link to connect a social account, handle what comes back to your app, and check that the account can publish. - [Generating posts](https://docs.native.no/native-api/generating-posts.md): Write up to 20 draft posts from one brief, follow the batch until it settles, and read each post exactly as it would publish. - [Editing posts](https://docs.native.no/native-api/editing-posts.md): Change a post’s caption, first comment, destinations or a single picture, and follow a picture render until it lands. - [Review and approval](https://docs.native.no/native-api/approval.md): Record a client’s approval of the exact version they saw, or a rejection with a reason, and see what Native checks before a post goes out. - [Scheduling and publishing](https://docs.native.no/native-api/publishing.md): Book a post for a time, move many at once, publish now, withdraw one destination, and follow each destination to a live link or a failure. - [Errors](https://docs.native.no/native-api/errors.md): How a Native API tool call fails: the error envelope, when to retry, and every error code with the fields that come with it. - [Limits and versions](https://docs.native.no/native-api/limits.md): Size and rate limits, timeouts, versions, formats, image URLs and polling intervals for the Native API, and what is planned but not available. ## For both APIs - [Authentication](https://docs.native.no/authentication.md): One login for the Norn API and the Native API: a client ID and secret for your backend, exchanged for an access token that lasts at most an hour. ## Optional - [All pages in one file](https://docs.native.no/llms-full.txt): every page above as Markdown. - [Meet Norn](https://native.no/meet-norn): the research behind the model.
